DESCRIPTION:Dit tweedaagse congres brengt drie vernieuwende behandelmodellen samen die internationaal sterk in de belangstelling staan. Congresdag 1 staat in het teken van Internal Family Systems (IFS) en Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). Congresdag 2 gaat over het bereiken van andere staten van bewustzijn zowel mét als zonder het toepassen van Psychedelica in behandeling. Elke methode biedt een andere invalshoek op traumaverwerking en helpt professionals om het complexe samenspel tussen lichaam\, brein en bewustzijn beter te begrijpen en te behandelen. \nTijdens het congres is er aandacht voor de groeiende wetenschappelijke belangstelling voor deze modellen. Hoewel recente studies en systematische reviews aanwijingen bieden voor mogelijke positieve effecten bij onder meer trauma\, angst en depressie\, is aanvullend onderzoek nodig om de werkzaamheid en toepasbaarheid van deze benaderingen verder te onderbouwen. Daarom is er tijdens het congres ook aandacht voor wetenschappelijke discussie met o.a. een kritische relfectie op indicaties\, beperkingen en ethiek.

From the frontiers of medicine and neuroscience to policy\, equity\, and practice\, PS27 is curated by and for the people doing this work.Bridging Promise & Practice \n  \nThis movement has always been driven by a promise: that these medicines could transform mental health\, catalyze healing\, and build a more compassionate world. \n  \nFor 40 years\, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) has worked toward that promise by funding research\, training therapists\, changing policy\, and bringing people together. Since 2010\, Psychedelic Science has been the gathering where the field meets itself. \n  \nPS23 invited us to be part of the breakthrough. PS25 asked us to integrate the learning\, joys\, and challenges.
