Why this gathering, why now.

Returning to Denver, Psychedelic Science 2027 brings together global researchers, clinicians, policymakers, advocates, and community members for five days to explore the current state and future of the field.

As the field moves faster than ever, Psychedelic Science is a place to connect, to ground, and to remember what we’re actually working toward: ensuring that the promise of psychedelic medicine is met with the training, access, and compassion that the people who need it most deserve. From the frontiers of medicine and neuroscience to policy, equity, and practice, PS27 is curated by and for the people doing this work.Bridging Promise & Practice

This movement has always been driven by a promise: that these medicines could transform mental health, catalyze healing, and build a more compassionate world.

For 40 years, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) has worked toward that promise by funding research, training therapists, changing policy, and bringing people together. Since 2010, Psychedelic Science has been the gathering where the field meets itself.

PS23 invited us to be part of the breakthrough. PS25 asked us to integrate the learning, joys, and challenges. Now, PS27 asks: how do we bridge the gap between that visionary promise and the on-the-ground practices our communities have built?

Bridging Promise & Practice means investing in training, education, policy, and most of all, human relationships. Together, we can ensure psychedelics become what we know they can be.
